Our current system project management module did not provide into one user interface a clear overview of our projects (in term of status, expense / income recognition, and margins). As a result, the monthly closing of the accounts and reviewing the projects profitability report was often a difficult and manual tasks.

We were recommended by our partners which are using Samooha for their Distribution business. After meeting with Samooha founder and having reviewed their system, we decided to go with Samooha project management module to replace our current system.

This module is fully integrated with Samooha’s Financial and Controlling modules which allow our company to have seamless data flow between the management, accountants and project team members.

  • Samooha’s ability to have partial billing for projects allow to recognize the project revenues and costs into the balance sheet automatically. Upon project completion, project revenues and cost will be recognized into the P/L/. This has greatly helped to ensure that end of month closing would be faster.

  • Sage 300’s reports do not provide Media Signs companies with enough details and up-to-the minute business information across the organization.
  • Sage 300 had limited Management Accounting capabilities
  • The controlling module did not provide an easy way for the management to manage the business and understand the profit and cost drivers.
  • Sage 300’s User Access Rights and Document Control feature was not exhaustive enough for Media Signs requirements.
  • Management of Retention amount was done manually and it was taking a lot of time for the back office team.
