Matrix Star Completes Implementation of Samooha’s GOOMI Distribution ERP System to Support its Business Expansion into Fast Moving Consumer Goods Products (Feb 2, 2016)
Singapore, Feb. 2, 2016 – Samooha, a regional player in business management applications, announced the successful implementation by Matrix Star of Samooha’s GOOMI Distribution ERP System
Matrix Star Marketing Pte Ltd is a premium marketer and distributor of health, beauty and fast moving consumer goods products in Singapore. Matrix Star was looking for a solution to address the procurement and sales challenges in wholesale/distribution operations environment, as it expands it business into Food products on second half of 2015. Matrix Star approached Samooha in July 2015 requesting help for the company to transition smoothly from their existing accounting management system to an integrated world of powerful distribution business management, monitoring, and analysis tools.
Samooha proposed to deliver an integrated enterprise management software as a solution that is affordable, flexible, easy to deploy, and address the specific needs of Matrix Star current and future expansion plan. As this is Samooha’s first customer in Food products, certain workflows and features were essential to be develop to meet Matrix Star’s requirements.
Samooha’s development arm added FEFO (First Expired, First Out) batch management and UOM Conversion process, to support management of perishable products in their system. Samooha’s team has successfully implemented the enhancements within 4 months, enabling Matrix Star to Go-Live on 1st December 2015.
Matrix Star has since been using Samooha’s GOOMI Distribution to process 5 thousands sales order within 2 months. Happy with Samooha’s performance, capabilities, and support, Matrix Star has again approached Samooha requesting for a new feature to complement their Delivery Management need.
